When my wife and I visited the Keys in 2021, we made it all the way down to Key West and discovered how amazing chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick is. We didn't go that far this time, so we were happy to stop at the Key Lime Pie Factory on our way back home. Their chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick is great, similar to the one we had in Key West. Their assortment of other key lime items was good, but they didn't have hard candies like I found in Key West, so that was a little disappointing. It was a good place to stop for pie though.

We had read this was the best key lime pie in the Keys. From our small sample size, I'd agree. While this place is called the Blonde Giraffe, the signs more prominently read "Key Lime Pie Factory." There is a small parking lot in front and extra parking opposite the shop. My wife thought they might have ice cream, but alas they only have key lime pie. They had some items for sale, coffee beans, etc... but we were on a pie mission. All the pie slices are $9 but it's another $4 for the merengue. A whole pie is $30 ($40 for merengue). If you want more than three slices, get a whole pie. I'll keep super short -- the slice was amazing. I loved every bit of it and so did my wife. 100% worth the stop!!!

We were on a mission to compare key lime pies while on vacation here. First two restaurants disappointed. we then grabbed a meringue topped slice at Blonde Giraffe...we have a winner!!!! We compared 4 others in a single taste test and the Blonde giraffe pie was perfectly tart and sweet. The meringue was delicious. We also purchased cookies and pecans and both were tasty! Highly recommend. In our opinion, this was the best of 6 pies we tried over the vacation week.

The pie was honestly the best I've ever had, just the right balance of tart and sweet, with a creamy texture that was perfect. I couldn't stop taking bites! The outdoor seating area was so cute, and the love lock fences gave it such a unique vibe. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious treat and just relax. I'll definitely be back for more pie and great vibes! Highly recommend!

I totally forgot to write this short review while I visited the Keys. If you are looking for the best Key Lime Pie be sure to check this place out. Their pies are perfectly balanced with that tartness and sweetness that will keep you wanting more. So good in fact that I bought a dozen bottles to bring back to Texas with me.

I was driving back home from Marathon and had made it my mission to bring some key lime pie back home. After a search I stumbled on the Blond Giraffe and OMG! Definitely the best I have had. The whole key like pie does come frozen and takes about 1.5 hours to defrost. I, of course, bought a slice to eat on the way home. And just wow. The meringue, the crust, all of it was delicious. The service was wonderful...there was not a line when I ordered but a line quickly formed behind me. The location is adorable as well! They have a nice patio outside with heart locks that have been hung by visitors. Absolutely love this place, definitely will come back again and again.

This brightly colored place is a ray of sunshine, even at night! The key lime pie was excellent and the key lime cookies were great, too. Service was prompt and cheerful. I was a little disturbed that Blond Giraffe has jumped on the no cash bandwagon. I've gotten begrudgingly used to it at big corporate places but this is the first mom and pop I can recall coming across that turns away cold hard cash in favor of plastic or tap to pay that has big banks' tentacles all over it. I'm more used to quirky places being cash only. Oh well, damn good pie, as agent Dale Cooper would say. (R.I.P. David Lynch) My misgivings only dock Blond Giraffe one star.

Located on the side of the road, this hidden little shack is full of love and delicious pies! It is actually quite big inside and has a large back patio area for relaxing. The store has a huge selection of take home goods from sauces to dips, cordial to malt balls and of course their pies and cookies. Staff is very nice. Their coffee is Nespresso branded and they have great presentation with a key lime cookie to top your cup with. We had to try a slice of their signature key lime pie with meringue on top. It was good, not super sweet or sour. Just the right amount of lime flavor with a nice hint of sweetness and rich cream on top plus crunchy cookie crust on bottom. There's a beautiful love locks area outside and you can purchase one to leave your own well wishes.

Holy smokes!!!! If I could use the F word on here, I would (in the best way possible). This key lime pie was AMAZING!!!! We got the key lime pie with meringue on top, and it was absolutely incredible. We've tried about six different key lime pies on this trip, and this one was hands-down the best. The outside is super cute and peaceful, with a little garden where you can enjoy your pie. The staff was so sweet to us! I even recommended it to a few friends, and they ended up loving it too. My husband and I are planning to stop by again on the way out tomorrow, and my mouth is already watering just thinking about it. 10/10 key lime pie! I've never had anything like it!!!
